Using the Genetic.Family Chromsome Extension to Gather

Supported Sites

The Genetic.Family Chrome Extension supports gathering the following sites:

• FamilyTreeDNA
• GEDMatch
• MyHeritage

23andMe + LivingDNA coming soon

Gathering is very simple using the Genetic.Family Chrome Extension! First Make sure you are logged in and then click the "Gather" button in the header

Keep in mind the following important information:

• Sites which have Chromosome information may take much longer than sites that do not. Some may take days.
• After a certain amount of time, you may be logged out mid-gather.
• Restarting a Gather session will pick up where it left off with Chromosomes
• Restarting a Gather session may show the same total page count, but will skip those already gathered.
• Until you fully complete a gather, some match information such as cM and name may not appear fully
